From Convict to $10M+ Net Worth
From Failing Family Business To Sold Company
I’m Jacob Force. I didn’t have a backup plan, so I built a
business instead. Now I help people run their lives and their
businesses the same way I ran mine: ON PURPOSE, WITH PURPOSE.
Founded 2017 – Sold 2025 | $500K to $10M in 8 Years | 30+ Employees Led | Multi-Family & Storage Facility Investor
The Story
In 2016, my dad was about to hang up his tools and go back to the union. Our family masonry business was struggling.
I had a felony on my record, which meant the corporate world was never going to hand me a “good job.” So I made my own. I told my dad: let me start this company. If I mess it up, you can still go back to the union, we won’t be any worse off than we already are. I started Force Masonry Construction with me, my dad, and three part-time guys. Year one: $500K, and we barely survived the cost of doing business. I didn’t stop there. In 2020, I started Force Basements. I kept building.
By 2025, the year I sold, we were doing $7M a year with over 30 employees, and I sold at a 9 multiple. Along the way I lost my dad in 2022, the man who took the leap with me. I kept building anyway, because that’s what running a business, and running a life, requires. I also moved into real estate, developing a storage facility in Pekin, Illinois in 2023 and selling it this year at a 6 cap, alongside investing in multi-family properties.
I’m not a guy who read about success. I built it, scaled it, and sold it.
Maximize
Your Potential
Two kinds of people end up in my world:
1. People whose life feels like it’s at a standstill. Life doesn’t run on hope. It runs on decisions, discipline, and direction, the same things that build a company. If you feel stuck and you’ve lost your grip on staying positive, I can help you find a different way of looking at things, and find where the leak is.
2. Founders and owners who are stuck or scaling. Whether you’re about to start something with nothing but guts and a part-time crew, or you’re sitting at a few million in revenue trying to figure out how to break through to the next level, I’ve been exactly where you are, and I’ve been where you’re trying to go.
Why Me
I didn’t inherit this. I didn’t get handed a clean record or a safety net. I took a failing family business and a felony and turned it into a company that did $7M a year and a successful exit, while being the guy my employees came to, not just for a paycheck, but when their lives were falling apart. Running a small
business means you’re not just the boss. You’re someone’s stability. Someone’s voice of reason. I’ve carried that weight, and I know how to carry it well.
